Flights from the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia are short and direct, and EU/EEA residents may be able to claim reimbursement from their national health system. We're not the cheapest option. We aim to be the best value for a procedure you only want to do once.
As a general guide: ESG suits a BMI of about 30–38 for people who want to avoid surgery. Gastric sleeve and bypass are for a BMI of 40+, or 35+ with conditions such as type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure. Bypass is often preferred with diabetes or acid reflux. The specialist makes the final recommendation.
For ESG, around 3–4 days in total (the procedure itself is a same-day stay). For gastric sleeve or bypass, plan about 6–7 days: 3–4 nights in hospital plus hotel nights before and after.
Consultations, the procedure, anaesthesia and hospital care, hotel accommodation, all transfers in Latvia (airport, hotel, hospital), your personal coordinator, a dietitian plan and 12 months of remote follow-up. Flights and personal spending are not included.
You'll leave with an English discharge summary for your GP, and your coordinator stays reachable on WhatsApp. Your follow-up includes remote contact with the medical team, who advise on next steps if anything doesn't feel right.
Yes, many of our patients come after trying weight-loss injections. Tell us in the questionnaire. The specialist will advise on when to pause the medication before your procedure.
Before your procedure, your doctor sets a personal 12-month milestone with you. If you attend your follow-up check-ins and follow your diet and care plan, but haven't reached that milestone at 12 months, we extend your coordinator and dietitian follow-up for another 6 months at no cost. Weight loss depends on many individual factors, so this is a promise of continued support, not a guarantee of a specific number of kilograms.
A €500 deposit secures your date. You pay the rest only when you arrive in Latvia and sign your treatment agreement, before the procedure. Cancel 15 days or more before your procedure and we refund the deposit in full. You receive an itemised invoice, useful if you're claiming reimbursement.
